Crochet: FPdc (Front Post Double Crochet)

A FPdc (Front Post Double Crochet) is a variation of the regular double crochet stitch that’s worked around the post of the stitch from the front — instead of into the top loops.

It creates a raised, textured ridge on the front of your fabric and is often used in ribbing, cables, basketweave patterns, and 3D textures.
