Lining
Measure, mark, and cut out two pieces of lining 1/2″/1.3cm larger all around than bag. With RS facing, and using a 1/2″/1.3cm seam allowance, sew pieces tog along side and bottom edges. Turn top edge 1/2″/1.3cm to WS and press. Sew side and bottom seams of bag together. Pin button lp to back of bag, so bottom edges of lp are side by side, 1/2″/1.3cm from top edge and centered side to side; sew in place. Sew ends of strap to top side edges of bag. Sew on button to correspond to button lp. Insert lining. Slipstitch top edge of lining in place.
