Knitting: k3tog (knit 3 stitches together)
It’s a decrease stitch — it turns three stitches into one, reducing your stitch count by two.
How to Do k3tog (Knit 3 Together):
- Insert your right-hand needle through the front loops of the next three stitches on your left needle — all at once — as if to knit.
- Wrap your working yarn around the right-hand needle as you normally would for a knit stitch.
- Pull the yarn through all three stitches at the same time.
- Slip the three old stitches off the left needle together.
You’ve now made one stitch out of three, producing a right-leaning decrease that’s steeper than a regular k2tog.
